Last week women members donated toiletries for the Rock Foundation foodbank.  This came after a suggestion by Emma in Melanie Onn’s office who had been in conversation with a community worker who was trying to access toiletries for someone.

The new Women’s Officer for the constituency, Sylvia Moss, wrote and hand delivered letters to all women members introducing herself and, also putting out a call for items to donate.  Bags of shower gels, shampoos, lotions and personal products came flooding in and last Friday she went with supporter Sue and Melanie to the foodbank in Garabaldi Street where it was handed over to staff.

A huge thank you to all who donated, helped deliver and sort.  The local Labour Party at its practical best.
